What information do we collect about you when you participate in market research? We collect information about you when you consent to take part in market research in one of the following ways: face to face depth interview, telephone depth interview, online research panel or focus group. We collect data that verifies your eligibility to take part in the project you are being recruited for. For example, if we are researching people who watch TV, in addition to your name and contact information we would collect behavioural data about how you watch TV and what you like watching. We may sometimes need to ask you about your political opinions or religious beliefs if it is relevant to a project. How will we use the information about you? We collect information about you to confirm that you are the correct demographic for the project. This information is then shared with research agencies, intermediaries and sometimes the end client All data collected by Attitude & Thoughts and is stored in encrypted files which are password protected. The data is retained for up to 12 months after collection and then deleted securely.
